Emmerton Park is located in Smithton on the far North West Coast of Tasmania, in the rural and scenic municipality of Circular Head. Our region is best known for having the ‘cleanest air in the world’ due to our location on the edge of the Tarkine Wilderness, which boasts of having Australia’s largest patch of temperate rain forest.
We are a community based, not-for-profit organisation who provide a wide range of high quality aged care services. Our facilities enable us to provide Residential, Community & Respite Care & Retirement Living options.
Emmerton Park has advanced from our humble beginnings in 1966 as a small organisation to care for Circular Head’s elderly residents. We have now grown to become one of the most successful community based organisations in Tasmania which currently provides 66 independent living units which are in a village setting across 3 locations and our state of the art 61 bed residential care facility which opened in March 2008. Our passionate staff & volunteers provide quality care with a focus on skilled care for residents with special needs.
Our Board, Staff, & Volunteers work closely with our local community to pursue and implement innovative programs and services designed to provide our residents with quality of life. Our aim is to provide exceptional outcomes for our clients by supporting them and providing them with choice and independence at every stage of their lives and peace of mind as their needs change.
